Awards keep rolling in for A-dec LED light

The revolutionary A-dec LED operatory light has added yet another award to its impressive tally of industry accolades. Following a lengthy and rigorous in-clinic evaluation process, the A-dec LED dental light has now been awarded the coveted Editors' Choice Award from influential US publication, The Dental Advisor.

The A-dec LED dental light was noted for its excellent illumination, elimination of unwanted shadows and well-placed and easy-to-use controls. It also received an excellent rating for its exceptional low-heat emission. There were also comments from patients about the light's good looks and the way the illumination stays out of their eyes.

The panel of evaluators is comprised of practicing dentists who treat patients in clinical environments. As a technical-based organization committed to the best interests of effective dentistry and patient care, The Dental Advisor can be likened to "Consumer Reports for practitioners."

The Editor's choice comes on the heels of three other distinguished awards for the A-dec LED: an IDEA Silver from the International Designer Society of America; the international Red Dot award for design; and 2012 Best New Product for Women voted by the American Association of Women Dentists (AAWD) who also praised the light's fluid ergonomics.
