Inman Aligner courses come to Australia

Events

Smile Corporation has successfully staged the first Inman Aligner courses in Australia in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Nearly 100 delegates experienced the course conducted by UK dentist Dr Tif Qureshi which has been sold out across Europe over the last two years.

The Hands on Certification course has been running in the UK, Scandinavia, US and the Middle East with consistently high ratings over this time.

The Inman Aligner is a cost-effective removable orthodontic appliance that moves teeth in a fraction of the time of other removable systems. It aligns crowded or protruding anterior teeth with two opposing spring loaded aligner bars. This provides gentle but continuous pressure over a large range of movement.

The Aligner is just for the anterior teeth but commonly cases that would take clear aligner systems 9-12 months to treat can be treated in 9-12 weeks with the patient only having to wear the appliance for 16-20 hours a day. The Inman Aligner has been successfully combined with minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry to provide patients with a real alternative to aggressive dentistry through the concept of Progressive Smile Design and Alignment, Bleaching and Bonding.

Dentists attended from all over Australia as well as New Zealand and even as far away as Mongolia.

Melbourne dentist Dr Terry Wong was one of the first dentists to sign up for the course: "I had a new patient recently attend my practice for a cosmetic dental consultation. During the course of the visit, she asked me whether I offer the Inman aligner as a treatment option. - I must admit I had no knowledge of this appliance.

"Unbelievably, the following week, I received in the mail, an invitation to attend a seminar about this very appliance presented Dr Tif Qureshi. The claims made by the brochure of what the appliance could do for clinical cases of mild anterior crowding sounded too good to believe, particularly the short duration of treatment of 4-16 weeks. However after attending the one day workshop, I was absolutely blown away by the results Dr Qureshi presented.

"Very few moments in my 24 years of clinical dentistry have excited me more than what I heard at the course and what this simple appliance could do in such a short time frame.

"The program was a credit to Dr Qureshi for delivering a concise and thoroughly compelling case for the Inman Aligner in the treatment of mild crowding in the anterior dentition. The Inman Aligner has gotten me extremely excited. I just wish I had learnt about this appliance earlier!"

More Inman Aligner courses are planned for Sydney on July 19, 2012; Melbourne on July 20; and Perth on July 23. For more information, contact jamie@smileworks.com.au or smilemelb@pearlhealthcare.com.au
