Planmeca acquires Triangle Furniture

Finnish-based dental equipment manufacturer, Planmeca, has agreed to purchase the majority of the share capital of Triangle Furniture Systems Inc., a Canadian manufacturer of high-tech dental cabinetry systems.

Triangle Furniture Systems is a pioneer in designing and manufacturing high-tech cabinets and sterilization centres for dentistry. "Triangle Furniture Systems has developed ergonomic and hygiene-promoting no-touch product concepts having many similarities with our product concepts," said Mr Tuomas Lokki, Planmeca's Vice President, Marketing and Sales. "This is why the acquisition is strategically very important for us. Triangle Furniture Systems' dental cabinets complete our product portfolio that ranges from dental units and imaging equipment to complete software solutions. Expanding our product portfolio now to include cabinets, we can offer the dentists the entire working environment, allowing them to provide safe and efficient dental care."
